VariabL alpha is closed… Long live the alpha!
The first round of our Open Alpha trading challenges closed on September 26.
The second round has started: register now if haven’t done it already, join us on Slack and follow us on our social medias (Twitter, Facebook)!
Thank you to all the participants to the first round that made those first two weeks a success! More than 350 traders have been using the platform, placed around 2000 orders into 1000 contracts and earned thousands of VCT for trading but also for providing us with valuable feedback..
For this alpha, we integrated VariabL Contribution Tokens (VCT) as rewards, implemented a more robust price-feed (price aggregator) and improved the platform design with a brand new user-experience.

During the first round, we received instructive videos,
tailor-made screenshots,
and astonishing graphs,
which helped us iterating on our new ideas and features.
The Open Alpha includes various rounds of trading challenges and some traders outperformed the market!
Congratulations to our winners, winning respectively 2000, 1000 and 500 VCT:
1. bob6664569, with 235.3 ETH and 532.99 VCT
2. sasukeevil, with 227.5 ETH and 400.67 VCT
3. gab, with 192.2 ETH and 347.44 VCT.
One of our traders also earned the first secret bounty! @mimo had a hard time on the first round, closing his balance with a bit more than 1ETH (out of 100) and earned the Worst Performance badge! He will receive 250 VCT.
We are focused on improving our product and creating an efficient synergy with our community and we are very happy to evolve alongside our 400 community members. During this first two weeks, we had coverage all around the world (US, Europe, Asia, Russia…), which brought us a wide variety users from various background.
Special thanks to busser who drafted a full article in Russian and sbn who did the same in Korean! We will make this diversity a strength to echo globally and build a product suitable for the needs of all the community.
