How to get VariabL Contribution Tokens (VCT) — A brief guide

(to the attention of our dear users)

What is a VCT?

VCTs are tokens granted to VariabL community members in exchange for any kind of contribution.

We are still designing the allocation cases but the main idea is to reward every contributor who helps us to improve and test our product. Exact VCT amounts given to specific contributions have not been set in stone yet and will be determined along the way following one rule: VCT are distributed proportionate to the value brought by the contributor to the project.

Attribution cases

As previously mentioned, exact VCT amounts given to specific contributions have not been set in stone yet and will be determined along the way. On an indicative basis, a table listing few cases of attribution and indicative VCT amount is available below.

How do you get VCT?

• 1st case: automatic attribution — Most of the time, VCT are attributed automatically.

You don’t need to do anything, they will be credited to your VCT balance, which you can check on our website. For example: VCT related to registration, ranking, order created…

• 2nd case: manual attribution — In some other cases (feedback, social medias), you may need to notify the VariabL team and ask for your reward (on slack: #variabl-vct)If you write a public review of our product, or if you share one of our article, or tweet something about us, you need to let us know so that we can give you a fair amount of VCT. Discretionary amounts will be credited depending on various factors: the impact of your contribution, the time spent on a contribution, the relevance of your feedback, etc.

In general, let us know when you contribute to our project to make sure you will receive your VCT!

Where can I see my VCT?

There are different way to see your VCT.

• You can see every VCT transactions in the channel #variabl-vct
• You have access to your VCT balance, your VCT history and your VCT ranking on our platform, by clicking on the VCT button.
• In some cases, (VCT attributed for referral, participation to our previous round, feedback, social medias), you will also see the attribution on our slack (#variabl-vct)
